    This is what I use in mine. But duck egg 1/2 strength. Very close in colour though.

    Will show the darkness of timber doors/frames when scratched.

    Whilst it has to look tidy I don't go purely for style, its about the least maint possible in a money earner that someone living in won't give the same respect I would.
    I don't want to have to repaint after every time a tenant vacates, can't sting them bond simply because their vacuum cleaner marked my skirtings etc.

    Ceilings = ceiling white
    Walls = spanish cream quarter.

    Ceiling white to hide any slight imperfections and spanish cream quarter really opens up the house, makes it looks larger than it really is.

    I use cream colours or very pale yellow in a semi/high gloss on walls.

    Wow looks so white in the first pic! despite the various grades of off-white. Can see the hog bristle a bit more in the kitchen. Very nice!

    For IP specs:
    1. Ceiling - Antique White, Flat
    2. Walls - Hog Bristle Quarter, Low Sheen on lining boards.
    3. Trim - Stowe White (Semi-gloss)
    Thank you.

    My second IP, I think I will leave it as it is and may revisit later between transitions.

    I think it's a PPOR? I love it :) Sometimes tenants just have to learn to appreciate a little bit of quirky ;)

    When I bought this in carrington (Newcastle) it already has a red door so we added the red pendant light. Target: the young and free. will find out soon enough.

    Wow what a narrow block/house, and so close to the neighbours and pathway, reminds me of the old terraces in inner sydney but there 2-3 story, never seen anything like that before.

    Is it some kind of holiday/retirement village or similar?

    It's carrington... it's got character... there are miner's cottages too... a tiny 172sqm...longish. i think colour makes it look smaller.

    Its funny how with so much space/land they built on top of each other in the old days, then with the car the sprawl came with 1/4 acre blocks etc, Bankstown/Midland etc were no longer a weekend trip.
    Then it came back down to around 800sqr, now down to ~250sqr etc
