Did anyone watch ACA the other night? A house removal company won't release houses from their holding yards to people who've already paid for the house and subsequent reinstatement on their new blocks. These guys just happen to feature in the Qld section of API this month. I've had some experience dealing with house sliders/removers and most are the equivalent to bikies in the property game. So hearing of shonky dealings doesn't surprise me at all. I hope no one in here has been adversely impacted by these guys.
The company went into administration and they opened a new company. The houses are still sitting untouched.
Thanks for the heads up, something to be aware of. Are they actually associated, like some towing trucks?
Sad news, this answers a few of my current questions from a previous post.. Hope it's worked out promptly for both parties.
I forgot about this thread and only just read the article the other day. Interesting how the sister/partner is spruiki... er, talking about how she's doing well from putting these removal houses on vacant blocks... I wonder if they get the good ones to themselves...
