I got a photoshop one the other day. I have an outdated version and the ad was something along the lines of photoshop for $9.99 a month for their cloud service. I was strong and didn't click!

You'dmuch rather spend your $9.90 here on a paid subscription & still be able to spend a penny.

If you see something completely inappropriate, please see if you can right mouse click on the advert (don't left click it), copy the URL and then send it to me via email or a conversation (you can't do this with some types of ads)

I can block specific adverts and advertisers, but I need the URL of the advert to be able to locate the information I need.

Once the site gets a bit more established, I hope to be selling advertising to relevant local businesses rather than just showing random Google ads. Nothing worse than off topic and irrelevant adverts!

    i believe you @Azazel

i don't see any advertising. i use ************.. blocks almost every advert... give it a go...

On other hand $99 a year isn't a big ask for wealth of information... last thing we want is this site to loose money and have no forum to discuss on ..

most ppl here are Property investors.. $99 is a bottle or two of good wine.. no biggies!

Be Developer I see you ************ and I raise you ******* - but not on the work computer :(
$99 is pretty good. But the last bottle of wine I bought was a box, so that would get me about 13.2L, hehe.

These are google ads, so they're going to show targeted ads based on your current cookies/cache.

Adwords is what businesses use to purchase the advertising space that I sell using Adsense (and to purchase the advertising that you see alongside search results in Google).

Adsense is only a stop-gap measure because it was easy to put in place - I don't expect to make that much money out of Adsense, although for now at least it looks like it will help pay the hosting costs.
